Dear Colleagues,
You are cordially invited to attend the Lebanese Evaluation Day event that will be held by the Lebanese Evaluation Association, LEBEVAL,on Thursday the 31stof January 2019 from 08:45 am until 12:45 pm at The Smallville Hotel, Beirut, Lebanon.
As a developing country, Lebanon faces challengesthat require strengthening further its governance structures, policy making processes, and evidence based decision making; in addition to enhancing its environmental, social, educational, and health systems, while ensuring gender equality and inclusiveness. The "Lebanese Evaluation Day" offers, through the participation of speakers from the evaluation community of practitioners, and also the Government, Non-Profit and Academic sectors, a space for reflection on ways in which evaluation could help address these challenges of our time, at local, and national levels.
The Lebanese Evaluation Association, LebEval, is a social and apolitica lassociation established in 2016 by a group of evaluation professionals working across national and international agencies dedicated to improving the science and practice of evaluationin Lebanon. The founding group is eager to broaden the community of evaluation actorsinorder to further expand the contribution of professional evaluation to the development of our country Lebanon.
